Special Offer *$340

Overview

The Kyaninga Triathlon has grown to become a regular fixture on the sporting calendar, and gives participants the chance to leave behind the swimming pool and city based triathlons in favour of spending the day racing around some of the most beautiful countryside Uganda has to offer.

Set around the spectacular Kyaninga Lodge near the town of Fort Portal in western Uganda, it is hard to imagine a more perfect location to spend a few hours sweating away. The lodge’s very own crater lake (free of hippos and crocs) provides the venue for the swim: The bike ride takes you round the neighbouring countryside where the locals offer enthusiastic support; while the race around the rim of the lake is both carefree and challenging. The lodge affords a great place to enjoy the post-race endorphin high.

The next Kyaninga Triathlon will be run on December, 10th. There are two distances and competitors may enter as individuals or in teams. All proceeds from the event go to support the Kyaninga Child Development Centre, an organisation that provides much needed phsyiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services to children living with disabilities in the region.

Medium Course
