April 20, 2014

On 17th April, The Pearl Guide Uganda hosted “Good Thursday with Mo Roots”, the first of a series of activations geared towards bringing the spirit of our “Experience Premium Uganda” brand to life. The series couldn’t have had a more alluring start than with the young multi-instrumentalist Mo Roots who gave guests a feel of what premium music is. We also shared our latest April-May 2014 Magazine Issue.

In a bid to inspire Ugandans to experience the finer side of Uganda that we illuminate through our magazine, web, social media and app, we’re getting more outbound through events to share our unique brand of content on a more social casual level to stimulate genuine interaction and discussion on the subjects we cover.

Our first activation, Good Thursday with Mo Roots held at Maurice Kirya’s new cafe, The Sound Cup on Garden City, was headlined by Maureen Rutabingwa aka Mo Roots, whose performance was nothing short of stellar creating an experience not be forgotten. Mo Roots delivered a masterful display with her command on the Saxophone, the Piano and silky smooth vocals.
