    Was there Friday for the SA themed night. service was poor, the braai was cold and you ddnt even play enough house music! Cmn!!

    As part of the participating restaurants in the #KLARESTAURANTWEEK…
    They only get one star because
    1. They managed to get me a couple of smirnoff black ice even though I had to wait a while for them
    2. The waiters really tried – constant apologies for the delays despite the crappy food and service

    My honest review is -5 because
    A. Ratio of waiters/waitresses to crowd – totally imbalanced. Because of this it was taking them 15 – 20 minutes to get back to you with drinks, the bill, even something as simple as ketchup. Oh – the food was brought after 1hr but I could let that pass because of the crowd.
    B. Cold food – This was a first in a restaurant –> cold fries, meat, chicken. I would have been ironic is the drinks were warm 😉
    C. The number pieces or items on the bbq menu is not what was served and there were no apologies
    D. I had to stand up and go get my balance from the waiter after reminding him twice and waiting for him for over 30 minutes.
    E. A lady who seemed to be the manager or have some sort of influence there had her friends sit at a table next to ours. They seemed to have received everything as promised. Oh – they even got the warm towels to clean their hands before and after the meal – which i thought was a standard!

    Horrible experience all in all.

    Funny how the Great Indian Dhaba was the total opposite!

    • @Maryannek you cant compare the Ddaba with these guys, these guys were jokers. Even if i got an apology after refusing to pay for meats I didn’t receive. The fun thing was that when I said I was paying less the price they went to he kitchen and brought me two out of the three of the missing items which also took a number of minutes to arrive, overall these guys need to up their game.

    Worst service ever on the Big Savannah braai night.
    The waitresses were unprofessional, the meat was cold and incredibly less than what the menu said. I paid 25,000/= for a small plate of cold, unappetizing food. I will NEVER go back to Cityville guys, and neither will any of the friends I went with.
    On a positive note, the Savannah guys totally delivered, were polite, quick and the drinks were chilled through out the night.
    A massive thumbs down however to the Cityville team. Never ever going back there. Horrible, just horrible!

      I wish to apologize to all that were not treated well and the poor service….I humbly apologize on behalf of cityville family.we learnt a lesson or 2 and im assuring u..things have gotten better…maryannek,patricia,penlope…very sorry…sorry…my prayers are that u come back…
