I have been to Cafe Roma about 5 times in the last months and I have never been disappointed. Pizza is decent, pasta is good, salads are excellent, even the ice cream I tried was reasonably good. The chef is Italian and it is noticable that he is. Prices are moderate for Kampala levels, about 25-30k for a meal including drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed in the outside area, where I usually sit. The restaurant kitchen closes rather early, after 9.30pm it might be difficult to get food. Other than that, parking is easiliy availble inside the restaurant compound, location is conveniently on tank hill, close to other places in Muyenga and Kabalagala if you fancy a drink after dinner. Cafe Roma is a safe bet and has yet to let me down, I fully recommend it.

For participation in #KlaRestaurantWeek, this was very disappointing! We went on a Sunday evening and the place was packed. However, even with how busy it was we received horrible service. You could tell that the waiters were stretched thin. The tables took too long to clear, and they seemed to really not care about us. The Restaurant Week menu promised to be great but we ended up with what is essentially a starter. If their pizzas cost about 25,000/=, why did their chosen menu include tiny bits of cold meat on bread? Yes, the food was cold! Very disappointing indeed!
