Fond of their chocolate souffle, it’s served warm and quite filling! Was the highlight of my dinner. In conclusion the desert would be summed up as ——>>> THE TRUTH!!

This place has been open for ages but I was there again last night and felt the need to review because the service was so fantastic.

Anyone who rides a motorcycle in Kampala knows that going to a restaurant means first being shouted at by the grouchy parking attendant who will force you to squeeze your bike into the most inconvenient angle possible so as to not inconvenience or even be in the view of car driving customers. Female bikers will get a host of commentary, usually friendly but often not.

At Mediterraneo, we were met by the incredibly friendly host who very politely directed us to the bike parking, which was suitably secure. He checked first to ensure that there was enough space. Then, in true european tradition, gamely flirted with us on the way to the table and ensured we were well seated. Food was excellent and came super fast, again unheard of in Kampala. My date had never been before and I was reminded of what a fantastic venue it is – really comfortable and atmospheric, even on a packed friday night.

  3. Great service, I arrived just it was starting to rain and was escorted with an umbrella from my car to the entrance, although the place was full, my waiter was able to find me a cosy table and was attentive despite serving several other tables too!

I ordered the Homemade Tagilatelle with Tomato & Basil Sauce, and the delicate flavors were beautifully put together, and the pasta still had a little bite to it (which I love). Simple recipes like this are often difficult to pull off well, but they definitely managed to get it right.
