Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem, located conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. It is home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck.

11:30 am Arrival at Arcadia Lodges and setting in Rooms.
12:00 pm Lunch Buffet by the lodge
2:00 pm Boat Cruise and Sightseeing on the lake: Enjoy the tranquil boat ride along the eastern banks of Lake Mburo as you view birds, crocodiles and hippos.
5:00 pm Game Drive and Sightseeing through the park. Relax on the drive and encounter zebras, buffalo, elands and impalas along with a great variety of birds and panoramic view points across the park.
