Our Story

Founded in 2008, The Pearl Guide creates personalized Uganda travel guides, offering over 3,000 places to stay, eat, party and so much more, in over 10 regions of Uganda.

Our vision is to inspire and enable locals and foreigners to indulge in the finer side of Uganda that we are fortunate to know all too well.

Innovation is our ethos. We’re always thinking of the most efficient way to channel our content to you. This relentless thinking gave birth to The Pearl Guide Mobile App in 2012, the Holidays at Home Social Media Domestic Tourism Campaign in 2013 and most recently, the Discover Uganda TV Show in 2014.
