Lake Mburo National Park is a compact gem, located conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. It is home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck.
6:00 am Departure from Garden City Mall
9:00 am Stopover at the Uganda Equator for photos
11:00 am Entry into the National Park
11:30 am Arrival at Arcadia Lodges and setting in into Tents and Rooms.
12:00 pm Lunch Buffet by the lodge
2:00 pm Group 1: Game Drive and Sightseeing through the park. Relax on the drive and encounter zebras, buffalo, elands and impalas along with a great variety of birds and panoramic view points across the park.
2:00 pm Group 2: Boat Cruise and Sightseeing on the lake: Enjoy the tranquil boat ride along the eastern banks of Lake Mburo as you view birds, crocodiles and hippos.
Guests have the option to stay at the lodge and utilize the viewing deck, board games and outdoor games facilities.
07:00 pm Dinner by Arcadia Lodges
08: 00 pm till late. After party with DJ Slaughter Elly
Bedtime is at leisure.
