Information

Lake Bunyonyi (‘place of many little birds’) is undoubtedly the loveliest lake in Uganda. Its contorted shore encircles 29 islands, surrounded by steep terraced hillsides reminiscent of parts of Nepal. A magical place, especially with the morning mist rising off the placid waters, it has supplanted many as the place for a therapeutic escape with often only the sound of birds for company. Supplement the scenic boat ride and the luxe of the lodge with the thrill of zip lining across the lake and you’ll have yourself an exciting fireplace story for the grandkids.

• Day 1
  • 6:00 am: Departure from Kampala at Garden City Mall
  • 8:30 am: Arrival at the Equator for photos and a break.
  • 12:00pm: Arrival at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch by buffet.
  • 2:00 pm: - Departure from Igongo Cultural Center.
  • 5:00pm: Arrival and settling in at Arcadia Lodge Bunyonyi.
  • 07:00 pm: Dinner buffet by Arcadia Lodge Bunyonyi.
  • 09:00 pm till late: Party with Deejays.
  • Bedtime is at leisure.
• Day 2
  • 8:00 am: Breakfast buffet by Arcadia Lodge Bunyonyi.
  • 10:00 am: - Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi (First Shift).
  • 1:00 pm: - Lunch buffet at Arcadia Lodge Bunyonyi.
  • 3:00 pm: - Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi (Second Shift).
  • 3:00 pm: - Zip Lining across Lake Bunyonyi. (For those who have opted in.)
  • 07:00 pm: Dinner buffet by Arcadia Lodge Bunyonyi.
  • 09:00 pm till late: Party with Deejays.
• Day 3
  • 7:00 am: Breakfast Buffet by Arcadia Lodge Bunyonyi.
  • 9:00 am: Departure for Kampala
  • Meal Plan: Full Board (L, D, B, L, D, B)

Cancellation Policy

Should you need to cancel your paid booking, refunds will be conducted under the policy below: 

• 3 days or more before trip date: 80% refund of the ticket fee.
• 3 days or less before trip date: 0% refund of the ticket fee.
