Welcome to a week packed with adventures and discoveries. The best of Uganda safari covers the two largest and most diverse game parks in Uganda: these are Queen Elizabeth and Murchison falls national parks. it also offers a true wilderness experience through tracking chimpanzees and hiking in the beautiful jungles of Kibale forest national park. Key highlights: Ziwa rhino’s sanctuary, game drives, boat rides, chimp trekking, Bigodi swamp hike.



Day 1: Ziwa rhino’s sanctuary, Murchison Falls national park,
After breakfast proceed to Murchison Falls National Park passing via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you shall have a walking Safari to see Rhinos that were previously extinct in Uganda.
Accommodation: Paraa lodge or Fort Murchison lodge (HB)

Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise
You will have a morning game drive across the savannah. It will be possible to spot a variety of game and birds. You will go for an afternoon boat cruise on River Nile up to the spectacular Murchison falls. You shall have a hike to the Top of the falls.

Day 3: Travel to Fort Portal
Today you will drive to Fort Portal. Along the way you will pass many tea plantations. You have the opportunity to visit one.
Accommodation: Ndali lodge or Kluge’s guest farm (HB)

Day 4: Chimp trekking and Bigodi swamp hike
You will set off early morning to go chimp trekking in the jungles of Kibale forest. You will take a walk in Bigodi swamp, a hub for hundreds of bird species. You also have an option of having a community visit.
Accommodation: Ndali lodge or Kluge’s guest farm (FB)

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth national park
Today, you will drive to Queen Elisabeth National Park; enjoy a game drive on your way in and relax at your accommodation in the evening.
Accommodation: Mweya lodge or Enganzi lodge (HB)

Day 6: Game drive and boat ride
Set out to search for the numerous animal species that the park has to offer by having a morning game drive. You will further have an opportunity to discover more animals and birds on the afternoon boat ride.

Day 7: Travel to Kampala and departure.
After an early cup of tea, you will start your journey back to Kampala. Cross the equator and have time to take photos at the equator. Buy a few souvenirs and have a quick picnic lunch. Later you depart for the Airport and take your flight back home. Meal plan: HB
